direction of the
Department of Dermatology and is housed in the Department of Pathology
on the UPMC Shadyside Campus. The unit consists of two staff dermatopathologists, two fellows, and an administrative coordinator.

The Dermatopathology Unit is active in Medical Student and Resident education. The Unit offers a Senior Elective in Dermatopathology through the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The Dermatopathology Unit also provides all of the Dermatopathology training to both the Dermatology and Pathology residents. The Unit also has an active Dermatopathology Fellowship Program.
