JULY 2009 CASE OF THE MONTH
A 43 year old female with no significant medical history presented to clinic with a rash on her neck since childhood. She was born and raised in Ghana, but for the past 10 years has resided in Australia. The rash is asymptomatic, but she is bothered by the appearance. She has eight siblings and all six of her sisters have a similar rash. She denies any difficulty with her vision and is followed by a generalist in Australia regularly.
On physical exam, there are several 2-5mm flesh-yellow colored papules on the anterior and lateral aspects of the neck, several with a firm consistency on palpation.
